Visiting any church for the very first time can make anyone a little nervous. Where do I go? What do I wear? What time do I show up? What's here for my kids? What can I expect? These and many more questions can come to your mind. Well, we want to put you at ease.

Your first visit to Rincon Baptist Temple will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and "at home!" Here are a few answers to your questions about what you might expect on your first visit:

What do I do?

You will be greeted by one of our friendly volunteers at the welcome center who will be happy to direct you to seating, or finding a classroom for your children or nursery for your little ones. They will gladly point out the rest rooms, water fountains, or any other question you may have.

What should I expect?

You will be given a bulletin that will tell you all about the exciting things that are going on at RBT. You will enjoy dynamic worship, purposeful messages dealing with real-life, real-time issues. Pastor Springer's messages are based solidly on Biblical teaching and practical application, they will help guide you toward growing in your faith and applying God's word to your family, job, and life.

How should I dress?

There is not a dress code at Rincon Baptist Temple for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable for your visit here at RBT

What to expect as an Adult Visitor?

RBT offers a wide array of adult Sunday school classes for couples and singles at any stage of life. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people and hear a Bible lesson directly applicable to your stage in life. The best way to get to know people at Rincon Baptist Temple is to visit one of these adult Bible classes.

After Sunday School, plan on attending our morning worship service where you will enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the choir, ensembles, and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Senior Pastor Joe Springer. (This service is a little over one hour in length.) Following the morning worship service, Pastor Joe would like to personally greet you and thank you for visiting RBT.

Will I have to say, do, or give anything?

Nope, only if you want to.

What sets us apart?

We are not the only good church in Rincon, but we are different than most because we make a strong effort to use the Bible as our instruction manual for personal and church life. We do not exist to entertain, but to be a shining light for Christ and provide Christians what they need to glorify God with their personal lives.

How can I join?

There are three ways to become a member of Rincon Baptist Temple. Profession of faith; by deciding to trust in Christ as Savior, and being baptized by immersion after salvation. Transfer of letter; by moving membership from another church of like faith and practice. Statement of Faith; by confessing that you have received Christ as your Savior and have been baptized by immersion in a church of like faith.

I have more questions. Who can I talk to?

If there is something we missed on this list, just give us a call or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you are new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it has been a long time since you have attended church at all, we hope your first visit at Rincon Baptist Church will be memorable. We want to serve you and your family, and we are looking forward to meeting you personally. We hope to see you this Sunday!
